Kobe Ending His Career With A New Team?!

Can this story possibly be true, that Kobe will be ending his career with a NEW TEAM? This headline doesn't even sound right to most. Kobe Bryant who has been playing for the Lakers for his entire basketball career and has won five championships with this team, is now thinking of ending and retiring with a new team? It mind puzzles most to think that Kobe Bryant may possibly be wearing another jersey besides the very one that holds his entire legacy as a NBA player. So is this story true?

Before we dive into discussing Kobe playing for another team we first must discuss the story behind Kobe ending his contract with the Lakers this year and retiring. Is Kobe truly retiring this year? Is he going to end his career unfortunately in point where he has exhibit low performance as a NBA basketball player these past two few seasons?

Well earlier this year Kobe has stated in a ESPN interview stating "No, it's not true. It's not true....It wouldn't be true to who I've been my entire career to do a farewell tour." But according to  Los Angeles General Manager Mitch Kupchak he stated to SiriusXM NBA radio that "He (Kobe) has indicated to me that this is it." But Kobe quickly denied this statement of Mitch Kupchak through a post on twitter the very same day .

Since Kobe has been adamant about not retiring he still not has denied the rumors of ending his career with another team. So this brings up the very question we are all seeking the answers to. Will he continue as a NBA Lakers player and end his career with them who possibly can not give him that strong finale ending as a NBA player or end his career with another team? There is a very small chance that the Lakers can become a successful team but that chance relies on signing a big name agent, but due to Kobe's expensive contract with the Lakers that likelihood is slim to none. 

So if Kobe keeps denining the "rumors" that he will be retiring but wants to end off his career as strong as possible, which clearely has not been happening with the Lakers it seems that leaves him no choice but to end his career with another team.

We have seen time and time again a comeback from several teams, for instance the rebirth of the Spurs and Kobe wishes to do the same whether it's the rebirth of the Lakers or another team Kobe might partake in. "I thought the Spurs were done 20 years ago. Those guys are still winning. ... I'm hoping I can have the same rebirth." Kobe Bryant states during an interview with NBA TV

We have heard Kobe Bryant deny time and time again that he will not be retiring, but the question of him ending his career with another team still remains unanswered by Kobe himself. But if we all really think about it,  Kobe playing for another team seems more of a possibility than him staying with the Lakers.
